| How energy shifting programs work |

When you enroll, your energy provider may briefly adjust your thermostat during peak demand.

- Events typically last 1–4 hours
- Temperatures may shift no more than 3–4 degrees, with preheating for comfort
- Advance notice is usually provided
- You stay in control and can opt out anytime by adjusting the temperature
