1 To maintain an active status in the Choice Privileges Rewards Program and retain accumulated Choice Privileges points, you must engage in qualifying activity beginning with the first day of the month after your activity is completed through the eighteenth consecutive month of inactivity, such as completing a qualifying point-eligible stay, earning points, airline miles, redeeming Choice Privileges points, earning points with one of our partner programs, purchasing points, and referring a friend. Choice Privileges points will be forfeited in accounts with no qualifying activity during the previous 18 consecutive calendar months.
2 You earn 10 points for each whole U.S. dollar that you pay in full in room revenue when paying qualifying rates, excluding taxes, restaurant or other incidental charges at hotels in the U.S., Canada, Europe (excluding Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden), the Middle East, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. In Australasia (including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji), you earn 10 points for each whole U.S. dollar on all eligible charges. Eligible charges include: accommodation, tax, restaurant, bar charges, laundry and phone calls.
3 Free Nights: There are no blackout dates. Restrictions, taxes and fees apply. See Terms and Conditions for details. There are over 1,500 Choice hotels with reward nights available at 8,000 points or less. Reward nights at locations worldwide are available from 6,000 to 35,000 points (excluding Australasia, where reward nights require up to 75,000 points). 4 All purchases are non-refundable. If you cancel your reservation in accordance with the hotel’s cancellation policy stated on your reservation confirmation, all points used for the reward night, will be re-deposited into your Choice Privileges account.
If you are unable to use your room and fail to cancel by the time noted on your confirmation, your account will not be credited with the points that you redeemed and/or purchased.
The cancellation policy of the selected hotel applies to the Choice Privileges reward night and supersedes Choice Privileges program rules. Reward night based on single/double occupancy. Additional person charges may apply. Point requirements for some hotels may vary based on time of year. 5 Valid only for current Choice Privileges™ members in markets where the Choice Privileges loyalty program is available. Members must book direct at ChoiceHotels.com, ChoiceHotelsMexico.com or through the Choice Hotels® mobile app to receive the discount. Must be a Choice Privileges member prior to making the booking. Not valid at vacation rental properties. Choice Privileges members will receive up to 5% off a participating hotel's best available rate (BAR)and up to 5% off BAR all days of the week. The actual discount rate is based on region and relates to the participating hotel's BAR, which is a specific rate type that varies depending on time of purchase, is unrestricted, non-qualified and excludes any other discount rates. Early departure fees, deposit and cancellation restrictions may apply and will vary by hotel. Unless otherwise stated, quoted rates are per room per night, based on single/double occupancy and do not include taxes, gratuities, or incidental charges. This rate may not be combined with other select promotions, offers or discounts and is not valid for existing reservations or groups. Rate is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash, and cannot be used during future stays. In its sole discretion, Choice may modify, suspend or cancel this discount program at any time with or without notice.
